Palmera is pleased to present this stunning 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom villa has been recently renovated to incorporate the character of old world architecture with the sleek style of modern design. The property sits approximately 100 feet above sea level in the Hills of Mismaloya, a quant fishing village that was put on the map back in 1964 as it served as backdrop of the classic film, “Night of the Iguana”. Surrounded by nature, this home makes the perfect base camp for the ecotourist. Walk, hike, or even travel by horseback!
The space
There is one master suite located on the second floor with a king bed and a large walk-in double shower and double vanity. The balcony overlooks the pool and the front yard. The guest suite is located on the lower floor, with a private patio cut into the hillside. It has a king bed, walk-in shower and attached bonus room/gym. The 3 additional bedrooms are all located upstairs, each with their own bathroom, smart TV and bunk beds.
Guest access
The property has a full-time keeper and small watch dog. He will great the guest upon arrival and be tending to the grounds throughout the day. He will be seen working around the exterior of the property in the late afternoons and early mornings mostly. During the evenings he stays in the equipment room located underneath the patio. His name is Leo and he speaks a little English. There is also a lockbox for the keys. A code will be provided prior to check-in.
Other things to note
Blink wireless security cameras are located in the common areas and around the exterior of the property. These are for the guest's security. They are not placed in any areas that could be considered private. Please do not attempt to disable.
